Austin Soundwaves Summer Music Camps offer fun, five-day programs in late June where students of all experience levels can explore instruments, build musical skills, and express their creativity. Explore & Create is designed for students ages 7–11 who are new to playing instruments and ready to explore music in creative, hands-on ways. Campers discover music through trying instruments, singing, and engaging in music crafts, games, and creative projects—all culminating in a joyful end-of-week showcase. Students ages 11–18 will be placed into chamber groups and symphony orchestra based on ability through a placement audition or assessment. Geared toward motivated students ready to develop musical independence and leadership.
