Why We Built This
A couple of summers ago, my wife spent weeks planning our son's camps. She wanted to expose him to new things — not just one type of camp all summer. He ended up doing ninja warrior, martial arts, an invention and science camp, and arts & crafts. Five different categories across one summer, each one a chance to discover something new.
Getting there was the hard part.
Scattered info
Googling, texting friends, and checking websites that all looked different.
Scheduling chaos
Every camp had different times. Coordinating with work and vacations was its own puzzle.
Friend coordination
Group chats full of screenshots that no one could keep straight.
Some camps listed prices. Some said “call for details.” A business with great Google reviews might still run a mediocre summer camp — the reviews are for the gym class, not the July program they put together as a side hustle. There's no way to know the difference.
