Sherwood Forest Summer Camp is a Medieval Sleep-away Camp for youth ages 8-16 located in McDade, TX, 35 miles east of Austin. The camp aims to deliver a week of profoundly positive experiences to campers, creating joyful childhood memories and new friendships. Campers can expect exposure to multiple crafts and skills that may ignite a passion, as well as experiences unavailable elsewhere, such as Jousting Knights, Castle Siege, Faerie Invasion, Fire Spinning, and Historical Games. The camp has between 140-160 campers aged 8-16 per week for 4 weeks, with sessions being 1 week each. Campers can sign up for multiple weeks, and discounts apply. The camp was founded in 2012 and is fully licensed with the State of Texas.
