Camp Invention is a STEAM-focused summer day camp for rising 1st–6th graders. Directed by Rockenbaugh Elementary GT specialist Cindy Kennemer, the curriculum is robust, hands-on, and designed to spark creativity and build confidence as campers bring their ideas to life. Carroll ISD runs two themed weeks — Week 1 (SPARK) and Week 2 (ILLUMINATE) — and registering for both weeks earns an exclusive $60 discount off the second week. | The Leaders-in-Training Program is an exciting opportunity for middle schoolers (entering grades 7–9) to participate in Camp Invention in a leadership role. By guiding campers in grades K–6 through high-energy STEM experiences, these role models encourage creativity and hands-on fun while building their own leadership and goal-setting abilities. Students may register for one or both weeks at a reduced price compared to standard camper registration. | The Leadership Intern program is the ultimate college application or resume builder for high school students entering grades 10–12. Leadership Interns support campers and staff by assisting with activities, encouraging teamwork, modeling positive leadership, and helping maintain an engaging, high-energy camp experience. This is a volunteer internship that earns up to 40 service hours per week attended. Interns receive specialized training in leadership and intellectual property, and may receive a letter of recognition from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Placement is determined through a competitive application process.
