ACA-accredited camp. Meals provided by on-site kitchen staff committed to healthy, kid-friendly food. Campers assigned to Alpha or Omega team on first day for week-long competition. Returning campers with 5+ summers receive a special camper gift. Activities include Zipline, Lake Evelyn, Aquatic Center, Archery, Tomahawks, Gaga Ball, Jumping Pillow, Arts & Crafts, Crud Wars, Paint Wars, and more. Camper-to-counselor ratio: 6:1 (vast majority of cabins). All fees must be paid in full no later than 30 days prior to session start; installment payments available — contact office at (936) 328-3200. Scholarships available; apply at cho-yeh.org/parents/scholarships/. Health Center staffed by at least 2 medical professionals 24 hours a day all summer. All medications dispensed by onsite medical staff; no medications kept in cabins. Strict 'rule of three' policy — counselors never alone with a camper in a building or private area. No phones, video games, or electronic devices allowed (digital cameras excepted). Cabin mate requests accepted for up to 2 names; campers must be no more than one grade apart.
