Camp Blessing makes an iconic experience–summer camp–available to campers whose challenges prevent their participation elsewhere. We are a residential Christian summer camp offering love, acceptance and fun to children and young adults with special needs and their siblings. We believe that our campers, regardless of ability level, should have all of the fun summer camp has to offer. Everything is customized to make camp accessible, from our specially trained staff, facility and activities, to our menus and clinic. We are designed and prepared to meet the varying needs of campers diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities who may also use wheelchairs, walkers or crutches. All they have to do is show up and be treated like rock stars. Our goal is for campers to be engulfed by God's love and to have the time of their lives! Since 2006, more than 2,600 campers, accompanied by 4,100 one-on-one counselors, have enjoyed activities adapted to individual ability levels including: canoeing, archery, horseback riding, water games, ropes course, zip line, rock wall, fishing, arts and crafts, theme nights and music. We are honored to say that our campers return year after year to experience the love of Christ lived out at Camp Blessing! Our vision is to share the love of Christ with children and young adults who have special needs and disabilities through a Christ-centered camp program.
