Austin Playhouse nurtures and develops campers through the lens of theatrical storytelling: building creativity, empathy, and fostering a diverse and inclusive environment for all learners. Campers participate in a choose-your-own adventure style production, creating characters, story and design elements, leading up to a final performance for family and friends! In this child-led curriculum, our teaching artists are trained to meet each child where they are at in their experience and comfort level of performance. Through theatre games and group activities, your child will have a fun-filled week leading up to a performance of their own creation!
